That he came in as a transfer is not at all germane to the point CB seemed to be trying to make. What I think does matter is that Madden is the kid that the staff wanted all along before being forced to settle for McDaniel. Though based on the player evals, it wouldn't shock me if McDaniel ended up being the better of the two.
