I'm not opposed.
On the flipside, I wonder (ad nauseum, some would say) if it makes the bottom of the roster more fluid, too. Way easier for the coach to say "you are not going to play. Leave" than when transfers had to sit out a year. But, I wonder, and it seems like this was a big topic on BZ several years ago: how long are scholarships guaranteed for. Rather than jumping through the "you're not going to play" hoop. Can the coach just yank the scholly of guys that he doesn't want?
