Just about every move he has and hasn't made has looked very bad and has been torn up by both supporters of the program and the press. With all the endless blunders he has made, I find your insinuation that the timing of tenor of the coaching change unfolded as it did in part due to Jarmond having assessed it's impact on potential optics laughable. Far from playing chess, Nothing he has done has suggested any sort of capacity for tactical thinking. Dude hasn't even demonstrated Tiddlywinks level ability to strategize, let alone suggestion that he's playing chess. He simply searched for a new coach for a day and a half and offered the job to the first guy that said yes.
