previously as an NFL players Chip ran off. I specifically asked him about Chip when he took over the job, and he liked him... Chip didn't run him .... he just didn't fit the type of O-lineman protype that Chip usually has. In fact the player ended up quitting football, and pursuing a music career...he graduated from UCLA AFTER he quit playing football. He started playing again and went to Fresno as a graduate student.
I'm not saying Chip didn't have problems relating to players over recent years, but you just can't assume that guys who left when he was hired were ran off by him.
It's not up for debate that the 2023 roster is better...more talented... talented with NFL potential guys ...than Chips first roster. Chip has Bruins in the NFL right now...
Deshaun Foster is not taking over broken, talentless program.
