Streaming means we fans will pick up the tab since the linear cable carriage fees that once subsidized this level of spending by ESPN will likely disappear.
The only question is how much we'll have to pay.
As you start charging us premiums to see these games, there will be fewer CFB fans and the super-cycle will go into reverse: fewer fans, smaller revenues, smaller rights contracts.
