Chip was responsible for the product on the field, to include recruiting, player development and game management. He had responsibilities but not for "everything football".
Setting him up to leave will prove to be a disaster for Ucla football. The "everything football" portions he didn't control will continue to suck, but the on-field product will nose dive.
Welcome to another rebuild biotches. The way out of this endless cycle is to build NIL. So put some money in or get away from the program.
