If he can do anything with UCLA after Chip’s bailout/ screw job move, that only increases his stock and asking price in 1-2 years. And if either White (D-specialist) or Foster (no coordinator experience) get the job, then he is the strongest voice in designing the offense.
Rees went from 3 years as a D1 coordinator to a TE coach for the Browns. I think he’d view a coordinator job - even at a UCLA program in flux - as a promotion and a way to bolster his professional reputation.
