I’ll take the recs.
I went there on a blind date in the mid-80’s. It was a sorority party. My first crawfish boil. Ended up getting along w a gal that wasn’t my blind date. (Bad form, I know). Was there for a couple of days, one night we went to a fancy party at one of those mansions on the lake by campus. And during the day, went the the “camp” (river house) of the gal’s family. Took their boat out and went to a bar in the middle of the Tickfaw river, which was run on generators. The house specialty was a drink called the worm bucket. Great weekend.
I’ve stopped in and had dinner at the Chimes before, too.
