While he was at scUM, there were multiple rape violations involving players. A player was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. I think a player was arrested for brandishing a hand gun. A player broke another player's jaw over a gambling dispute. Who was the guy that jumped out of a 2nd story window running from the cops?
No way in the world UCLA hires that guy.
Also, Petey the poonhound is 72. Apparently that's a great age to run for president, but not for starting a college coaching position.
Re: recruiting, Pete famously said, before the NCAA caught up with him "why would I go to the NFL where I can bring in one 1st round draft pick a year rather than stay here where I get 3 or 4." Those days are over, with NIL being above board instead of the shenanigans sc pulled. And, Petey's recruiting glory days were 15 years ago.
