We've danced on the edge a few times, but haven't been a big boy since Cade & Co. (and realistically, even that was more the tail end of our run during the pre-conference TV deal breakup years earlier - we just had some momentum).
If the full on buying of players by boosters continues as is, we're SOL, especially when Michigan/Ohio St/SC convert the B1G payouts to unequal revenue - our only shot is being in LA, and NIL becoming truly based on Name, Image, Likeness (UCLA brand + LA Market will do well if it ever is what it was supposed to be), but with things going full SEC cheating, we won't be a player.
