that Title IX demands that if football players are paid, so should the members of the women's swim team. If you tie each sport's pay out to the revenue they generate, there is no inherent discrimination in that in my mind.
But then again legal minds have a different way of looking at the world and laws are generally written in intentionally ambiguous and confusing ways. So I'll let a legal mind identify whether it would be a violation of title IX if student athletes are being paid far less than what football players are being paid purely based on the revenue their events generate as opposed to their sex.
