... effective affirmative action programs in the nation's history. 1000s and 1000s of lower socioeconomic background kids have gone to college who otherwise could not have afforded to go. And as a result, their kids ended up going to college. The formula for success in America has largely been "college education + work hard"
But maybe that time has passed. Many are doubting the benefits of college. Deion Sanders decries the "education" at Colorado. One of his sons has never had an in person class. Why not go to university of Phoenix? Sham degrees for a country that looks increasingly like a sham.
