If you get fired at UCLA it’s a big stain on his resume. The coaches we’ve fired don’t seem to have done much thereafter. If Chip is fired, that’s three strikes in his last three jobs. He’s also not that young and has made a small fortune.
It’s obvious with all the changes in the college game Chip is no longer equipped to be a HC for a program that has any hopes of success. An OC position makes sense for him, but his schemes are awful vanilla for the NFL.
