Would be lining up his prospects for a new football HC. Possibly interim while planning next year for the permanent coach.

What does MJ do with Chip when CK points to his guaranteed contract? His agent can do whatever he wants and can tell MJ to STFU.

This is all the residual effect of not firing CK at the end of the season. Now he's forced to live with Chip on Chip's terms, not UCLA's.
