So which of those did Chip develop? Id love to hear your take. What you posted is a perfect example of where the headline does not meet the story.....
1. Zach Charbonnet (Late 2nd). Transferred to UCLA from Michigan. Two years at UM, 2 and UCLA.
2. Jon Gaines (High 4th rounder). He did not play at all this year. Was on IR.
3. Dorian Thompson-Robinson (5th round). Was committed to Mora and Chip re-recruited. Played one awful game. Got buried on depth chart and Joe Flacco jumped him. I guess he has some promise, but hes not ever going to be an NFL starter.
4. Atonio Mafi (5th round). I seem to recall him being one of Azz's first commits as he pulled him from Kal. He had a very good rookie year for a bad Pats team. Gotta give Chip a lot of credit on this one.
5. Greg Dulcich (Late 3rd). Hes been a big disappointment in Denver. He cant stay healthy. The Broncos have tried to hand him the job.
6. Sean Rhyan (late 3rd). I dont know how he has done to be honest. I was surprised he was not drafted higher.
7 Otito Ogbonnia (5th Rounder) Not a ton of run for the Chargers, but hard to hold anyone accountable on that team. He will finally have good coaching.
8. Kyle Philips (5th rounder) A lot like Dulcich. Always injured. Titans are desperate for WR, and he cant stay healthy. Also had a couple of key fumbles. He will not get a second contract.
9. Quentin Lake (Late 6th). He played well last year. He has a spot in the league and will get a second contract.
10. Brittain Brown (7th round). Complete non-factor. Transfer from Duke.
11 Osa Odighizuwa (3rd round). He has been an excellent player. Will make bank unless he pulls an Owa. He was a Mora recruit and mostly a Mora development.
12 Demetric Felton (Late 6th). Been a non-factor in NFL. Mora recruit. Was not on roster this year. Was a PS player.
13 Devin Asiasi (3rd round). Another Mora recruit. Has nto been on a roster last 2 years. Hes been a PS player.
14. Darnay Holmes (4th rounder). Mostly plays in nickel. Another Mora recruit. Developed under Mora.
15. Joshua Kelley (4th rounder). Hes been ok. Hes a journeyman RB who fumbles too much. Definitely a Chip guy.
