No, although it’s hard to tell because the unaudited document doesn’t break out the other sports, it’s unlikely they would all (or even some) be slashed. LSU has 21 varsity sports, thus 18 sports result in an aggregate loss of (25mm). That’s “only” (1.4mm)/. That doesn’t seem too difficult to fund. Now the fact that this isn’t granular could result in some programs being too dependent on others. For example, my understanding (based on nothing substantive) is that LSU women’s gymnastics and baseball are extraordinarily popular.

The problem, at least at LSU is that the women’s hoops program is spending more than 2x revenue just on coaches. THAT is a problem.
