Compared to them, Carroll is a spring chicken. Plus I bet on his death bed he has more energy than Chip. At least with PC you'd know this is his last stop and that he will at least try to recruit. He's too competitive just to come here for a soft seat.
Not saying I want him here but it's not because of his age. I figure in 3 years he would have us greatly improved or he would just retire. We won't have to play out a 7-year failure like we are with Chip. After next season Chip will tie Bob Toledo as the longest-serving post-Donahue coach.
