The UCLA fanbase is old. I heard that guy on Bruingold, Docjock, just died. I remember guys like MyPanache on this board, and I wonder what happened to others like PBD, who always mentioned how old he was. There's a guy on the basketball board, traprh, who is like 90.
I think some of them just gave up on UCLA FB and moved on, while others have passed away.
Either way, it's a bad sign for UCLA sports. You don't see a lot of young guys and students on this board like you did in the late 90's. Maybe they are all on BRO, but I doubt it. You'd think some would have made their way here just because it's easy to use and free.
This inability to get young people interested is going to be disastrous in the years to come. Kids nowadays think of Troy Aikman and Kenny Easley the way most of us think of Jim Thorpe.
