I interpreted "Fisch smell" as a negative commentary on Jed. My mistake.
OT: Iirc, Borges left at the same time as Cade. I think things would have been different if Big Al had stuck around. One small things, we ran a fair few trick plays under Toledo. When Al was here, they worked great. After Al left, you could see them coming from a mile away. Bob would run some weird play in the first half that had a lot of moving parts, but wasn't really designed to get the ball down the field. It quickly became apparent that Bob was "setting up" a trick play for the second half. Then, sure enough, in the 2nd half, there would be this weird foundation of a play and they'd run a flee-flicker or something off of it. As soon as you saw the weird movement, you knew, ok, this is the trick play they were setting up. That's just one small example. But, I think Borges was a very very good OC and Bob missed him when he left.
