the catalyst was the recent addition of QB Austin Mack who transferred to Bama yesterday. He reclassified and went to UW early. Evidently DeBoer is high on him and said he had a great year of development, He is 6 foot 6, 225 lbs and according to CKD has a good grasp of the offense.
He was our 5th rostered QB at the time of his transfer.
