I'm sure there are several reasons for that but NIL was not one of them. At this point, I doubt too many are eager to buy players for a coach with a .500 record through six years. Waste of money.
I would guess that many donors would just rather he bottomed out and got fired, and then they can reassess. That's very likely to happen within the next year, IMO. In any event, the NIL cavalry isn't coming to save Chip. Maybe Cronin but not Chip.
