Ya, Iriafen and Austin were well estapblished when they drafted Betts. It was always going to be hard for her to break through. I haven't looked at box scores for a while, but to me a huge additional problem for Betts, but not for the Mystics, is that Citron has been on fire. So, if Iriafen is out, they're going to lean into Citron for scoring. There isn't a time for Betts to be showcased.
And, getting into pure speculation territory, when you're not a first, or much of a second option, you're not going to get the good shots.
I wish both Betts and Dugalic were on a different team. But, it's early in their career. Long way to go.
