is eligible to play another season of college basketball. The Bruins, IMO, still need more help at the 5 position. This guy, although a little under-sized, to me appears near perfect to address UCLA's needs in that position. He's mobile. He's strong. He's quick and fast for his position. He can protect the rim. He can rebound. And he can get some points. What's not to like?
I'm a little puzzled that we haven't heard a single word about his status in the portal. It's been over a month since he's entered the portal. Not one word from anyone - no leads, no projections, no hint at anyone leading in his recruitment, nothing. Something's going on, but what. The guy is too good to be just ignored. He hasn't ruled out returning to BYU. Not one word from them.
This is intriguing. We will eventually hear something. Could that be from UCLA since the word out seems to be that UCLA is definitely looking to bolster their 5 position? Watch this space.
