Just a few observations on the UCLA players. Absolutely no doubt that Dailey will lead the team in scoring, stepping to a role as the #1 option. Philon could get into the rotation but only if he stops taking threes. Grinvalds impressed me with his very quick release on his threes.
That's about it . . . oh wait. There was this tall white guy playing with the UCLA players. Probably one of the pros. He made some excellent drives to the hoop, one punctuated by a spectacular dunk. Also made some nice passes. Turned it over a few times and got beat on defense, but everyone does in these pickup games. UCLA could use a player like him. Here's his picture:
