the 6'9" small forward out of UCF who lit up the Bruins for 22 points in the tournament, is still unsigned in the portal? It's common knowledge that Cronin is seeking to sign Tounde Yessoufou the 6'5" small forward out of Baylor and that small forward is a position of need for the Bruins. I know it may sound far-fetched, but in my twisted mind I wonder if there can be some kind of agreement between Cronin and Burks to wait and see if UCLA can get Yessoufou and if not they will sign Burks? And if Tounde does come to UCLA, Burks already has offers in his pocket just waiting for him? Is that just too crazy? I do wonder why Burks remains unsigned. He appears to be a desirable addition to any roster. Could it be that he really wants to come to UCLA and is willing to wait? Having to much time on my hands in this quiet period leads me to these ridiculous kinds of ruminations.
