I'm a broken record - we were down 10 when Fournier picked up her 2nd foul. That, to me, was the difference maker. They didn't have another strong big to throw at Lauren (and, Fournier is only 6'2").
We had a bunch of clock violations in the first half. Imo, that's because we were running a lot of clock trying to find a way to get the ball in to Betts. Iirc, every point we scored in the first half was in the paint. I'm actually surprised we didn't get more 3 second calls.
Texas has 6'6" Oldacre, who is a load. And, Dreya Cunningham, who is also a load. This is not Duke.
Imo, the turning point when we played Texas in November was that in the first half, we did the same ol' cram it in to Betts Offense. We diversified the O in the second half, and played much better.
