I've decided that, imo, Booker's issue is he has zero vertical. He's tall, but he can't get off the ground. If he's coming back next year, I think it's crazy not to lean into his shooting. By comparison, Bilo shot 52%, 46%, and avg'd 5 Rpg in 30 mpg. Booker averaged 54%, 43%, and 3.5 Rebs in 20 mpg. There is almost no difference in Booker and Bilo's numbers. I think Booker can hit those jumpers in the lane that Bilo was so good at.
If you were told that Booker was leaving and Bilo was staying, people would generally be stoked. So, as a starting point for next season, give Booker the Bilo role. If we can improve on that through the portal, great. But, Booker shoots close to as well as Bilo.
