This post is a valid reminder that he was playing out of position most of the time, as to the best of my recollection he pretty much always played PF for Tinkle at Oregon State.
It's a different calculus in terms of the D package needed to succeed on D at PF than correspondingly at C. It's also a different skill set on O, as Bilo was used comparatively less as a post-up C, particularly once Dent found his game and established an effective pick-and-pop game with Bilo ~~~~ who positioned himself at the arc for many of his mins as a 5.
CMC has not clicked on O out of the C spot for the vast majority of his games as coach of UCLA............maybe a tad of Cody Riley, but no sought-after C is really breaking down the doors to play for CMC at the 5.
