If you are right, then I would imagine that it would be in UCLA's best interest to terminate Cronin sooner than later. The longer they wait, the less the likelihood that Cronin's behavior would be considered not in UCLA's best interest. I could see a defense attorney raising the fact that UCLA dragged their feet....why would UCLA drag their feet if they really felt that Cronin's behavior was not in UCLA's best interest?
