Illinois had 7 players in double figures, made 13 threes and 24 of 26 free throws. USC only had one player in double figures. USC was out manned and out talented no matter who was missing. Mazara has been missing for several games but looking at the two squads and their size and talent, his presence wouldn't have made a significant difference, IMO.
Bruins need to show up on Saturday ready for a battle as this one is going to be very tough. I believe Illinois is right there with the Michign teams in size, talent and physicality.
