While it's refreshing and invigorating to finally have others see what I've been on about for a while, I also think it's important to acknowledge reality: he's not going anywhere. That contract extension has protections that will allow him to remain in Westwood until he basically wants to leave of his own volition, or until he does something even worse than we saw this week, in which case he could be fired for cause.
I don't think his actions vs. MSU, while outrageous and opprobrious, are enough to get him canned, even if we see a large swelling of public demand (among UCLA alums and boosters) for his firing.
He's a loser and has no business coaching at UCLA, but we may be stuck with him for a while.
