The fact that he was extended for a whopping 5 yrs thru the April 2030 season, pretty much seals the deal that he won't be bought out.
At least not thru the April 2028 season (which would mark 9 seasons for him at UCLA) when his buyout remains in the 8-figure range.
His losing it is a sideshow to his shortcomings. Per your point of the extreme pressure on his career possibly not recovering, I would think that given how much his career justifiably means to him, he would consciously somewhat holster his over-the-top offcourt hissy fits that he knows (he couldn't not know..........for fans of double negatives) draw broad criticism.
