Before I begin, I want to ask for the forgiveness of the Mick 'Walks On Water' acolytes for not gouging out my eyeballs at the opening tip and just making up sh1t instead of, you know, actually watching.
Speaking of watching. we've now gone back-to-back halves of 18 (MI 2H) and 23 (MiSt 1H) pts. Now, I know the Mick is an offensive guru despite said last 2 halves, but my feel is that we couldn't beat the Sisters of the Corn junior varsity team with his O halfcourt sets........oh wait, and our shooters fanning off cap guns.
9 to 21.........................if you thought it couldn't get any worse, that's the rebound margin in the 1H. Again, I won't bother the Mick acolytes to see which total goes with each team becuz what the hell do I know.
as to the ubiquitous bubble, if we can't rebound against Ill, who might be as good a team as there is in B10, well I won't say any more as the Mick acolytes might chase after me with pitchforks.
the good news is we don't have anyone in foul trouble, consistent with my view that Jamerson is a bull in a china shop who could likely pick up 5 PFs before he could register EITHER 5 points *OR* 5 rebounds. The bad news is, yup, we don't have anyone in foul trouble.
I'm not going to go thru all the ugly #s, but I'm thinking our strength of schedule is going to be crying for it's Mommy now that we're not playing Rutgers or Maryland anymore.
