Mick has started him in every game this season to date, in part recognizing our lineup is unbalanced. And, fortunately, Dailey has notably stepped up his game in our last half dozen matchups, all B10 games.
At the beginning of this new year and this ho-hum 4-3 B10 onslaught, the two players that came in for the most criticism were our two biggest anticipated stars, Bilo and Dent. Multiple calls here to limit their minutes, as chat rooms can get hysterical. Dailey is not of the caliber of dependence that Dent & Bilo are, both importance of caliber and importance of position.
But, yeah, it would make no sense to further unbalance the team's allocation of playing mins. Further adding to your point, is I would bet a dollar to a donut that:
1) no way, no how, Dent is 6'2';
2) ditto for Skyy at 6'3", once you gave him a buzzcut; and
3) Perry is 6'4" only if you tease his doo for maximum elevation.
Having 3 perimeter starters, all without a doubt in the low 6' range would seem ludicrous, especially for a D coach like Mick who reflexively throws out size, especially in an uber- competitive league of tree-toppers. And, with Bilo's D and rebounding limitations, you would add a typically inept Booker/Jamerson starter at C to 3 small guards and a question mark PF on D in Bilo.
You can't hide an unbalanced roster construction which we should be able to overcome in the next relatively soft 4 BIO games. But, then comes 3 matchups against 3 highly ranked teams, two of them on the road. All 3 will be in the Dance (hopefully, we will join them.................Skyy's barking hammy permitting).
