The scouting reports proved spot on. NW came as advertised ~~~ arguably one of the worst B10 teams, if not the worst, at 1-8 (yes, 8) in Conference. And, as an equal opportunity group of mudders, one of the worst at both ends ~ shooting 38%, giving up 62% shooting for UCLA. All good to me, as UCLA has built on their only season-changing win of the year to I would imagine the satisfaction of everyone.
The Rainbow Connection 'gots' nothing on the Dent-Bilo do-si-do, as they are playing superbly off each other. Add to that, I would argue this is the best game I have seen from Perry in his UCLA career. His confidence gauge has shattered the glass, especially in an area of huge need, his O play OFF THE DRIBBLE!
We're even outrebounding the pathetic Wildcats which is something you don't see too often with our guys.
As to Skyy, you bet his unfortunate injury is paying dividends as regards UCLA's backcourt depth, spelled - PERRY. And, yes, hammys are a particularly frustrating injury becuz they're so easy to aggravate and re-aggravate. And, CMC is not going to say Boo! about his condition becuz why should he.
This one is over as we continue to conduct our march thru a soft spot in the schedule, before we face a Bataan Death March thru MI, MI St and Ill in succession.
GO BRUINS!
