From what I could tell, Bilo and Dailey were the 5 and 4's. X was a 3. Perimeter defense, perimeter offense. That is his game. Let him do his thing. By trying to get more out of him, you get less. Try to make X a 4 or 5 and XIn retrospect, Cronin should have done this early. Found ways to maximize X's game, such as it is. Found ways to cover his deficiencies. If you let X = X, his biggest deficiency is defending dribble drives, from the perimeter. Design your D so that help comes.
