But I agree with you. Personally, I’d start by targeting a big, physical center. I’m tired of watching our guys get pushed around on the block. From there, as you outlined, I’d add a couple of wings and a backup point guard. At minimum, that’s four additions. Those pieces would complement Perry, Dailey, Williams, and Freeny. And now that I think about it, if Booker isn’t retained, you’d also need to account for a backup center.

Ideally, the lineup would look something like this:

PG: Trent
SG: Most talented transfer available (the big-money guy)
SF: A reliable, defense-first wing
PF: Dailey
C: Physical, bruising center

Bench: Williams, Freeny, a backup point guard, and Booker—or another big if Booker isn’t back.
