was thinking about Muse as I read the comments about defending UConn in the paint. If she moves and continues to develop her confidence, she could provide some help inside as well as those mentioned above. And Sienna is improving rather quickly. She's a freshman and she missed so much time the first third of the season so it seems we're only just now beginning to see Sienna Betts out there.
The other is my impression of UConn - they are tremendously smooth. We are still working on the smoothness. We have such an advantage over everyone who isn't UConn, perhaps USC (South Carolina) and maybe LSU (I believe we beat Texas okay if we face them again - I believe our season divides into before and after halftime of our Texas game) that we beat everyone else on the basis of our talent and height. But it will take something approaching UConn's smoothness - their connectedness - to take down the back-to-back national champs.
We're working on it. And the women's tournament is still some time off.
I think there are two great teams that are building for a great national championship contest. Generational teams. The ride is just so much fun to get to observe
