I love how you say “they all could have gone elsewhere.” 🤣 you make UCLA sound like a convenience store or a gas station. UCLA isn’t simply one among the rest, dude. UCLA is one of maybe 5 programs in the nation that is virtually peerless. When a player receives a scholarship to UCLA, they aren’t eager to look around and find greener pastures. UCLA is the greenest pasture, along with Duke and UNC and Kentucky and Kansas. Period.

Cronin doesn’t deserve credit for convincing Alford’s players to stick around. That’s completely disingenuous. It’s like giving the new manager of a Four Seasons credit because the guests kept coming after the last manager got fired.

As usual, this post hilariously distorts Cronin’s performance at UCLA, this time with his recruiting. Cronin has the charm and appeal of a sedated raccoon.

ANY coach at UCLA should be KILLING it recruiting-wise because (a) it’s UCLA and (b) we have money to spend. That Cronin isn’t tells us everything we need to know about the man’s competence and work ethic. And we just made him even lazier by rewarding him with a contract extension he doesn’t deserve.
