disappointing game. Cut him some slack. He took responsibility and also held his players accountable. Perhaps that can be seen as contradictory, and perhaps it is, but I see it as trying to cover all the bases. He's responsible for the team and everything about it. He's responsible for coaching them up. They're responsible for executing the game plan and playing to the level of being coached - like taking care of the ball, taking good shots, being in good position, making good passes, keeping good spacing, etc. A team, and that includes the coach and the staff, wins together and a team losses together. Everyone has their job. Everyone has their responsibility.
