Giving Cronin an extension now, rather than waiting till the end of the season for that decision, seems completely asinine. Even in my most charitable assessment of this coach's performance, the extension (and its terms) feels premature and unwarranted.
Anyway, congrats to Mick Cronin for making UCLA basketball almost unwatchable and for making our first years in the Big 10 so forgettable.
