defensive team still isn't very good. So, what then. Play a lineup that does some defense and some scoring then try and tough out a win. It's not a great solution but IMO Cronin does have a lot of options and from my perspective none of the options are good.

Forget summer games. That has nothing to do with organized structured games. They are two totally different things no matter how good the players are in pick up games.

IMO the closest thing Cronin has to a complete player on both sides of the ball is Skyy Clark and he has height issues. Everybody else has limitations somewhere in their games. It's hard to build a cohesive effective team on both sides of the ball with that kind of deficient roster.

Coming into the season there were a lot of question marks about how this team will meld and how many players would adjust to new positions, a new system, and higher levels of play. Everyone had their fingers crossed that it would work out. And if things did pan out as hoped for this team would be very good. I still believe that. What we're seeing is the result of many things not panning out as hoped for.
