Other than at Duke, there were very few impact freshmen on Elite Eight teams (only 3 rotation freshmen on the other seven last season). All the best teams feature experienced, proven transfers. The way college basketball is now, you can't criticize a coach for not getting high school recruits. He has budget constraints for obtaining players and the smart way is transfers, not unproven high school players who are usually gone after one season.
If Cronin can't get some top transfers after the season, then go ahead and blast him. But you have no idea who we will have in our "pantry" next season.
