You're laying the vast amount of UCLA's shortfall this season on the D, whereas the actual stats support a diametrically opposed conclusion.
The NCAA stats just came out for the 361 Div 1 hoops teams thru yesterday's games. UCLA ranks a solid 45th out of 361 in Scoring Defense, or in the Top Eighth in the country. Meanwhile, Mick's Scoring "O" ranks an awful 197th, or at the 55th worst percentile in the country.
This is not an outlier, as it's both Mick at UCLA and Mick at Cincy. Would be interested in you further explaining why you think these extreme contrasting rankings are bogus....
