Michigan trailed 50 to 45 at the half and it was Mara's play that was key in keeping Michigan close. Then the second half, Mich dominated on both ends of the court with 6'9, 240 lb Lendenborg leading the charge ending up with 29 points, 8 boards and 9 assists.
Maryland's 5'11 PG (David Coit)looked like a first team All American with 31 points and 8 for 12 threes made and 3 of 3 free throws. Averages near 47% from beyond the arc and 90% from the ft line. That guy is about as quick as they come and makes most good PGs look slow. He will be a very tough match up for the Bruin guards when Maryland comes to Pauley on Jan 10.
