Whomever Cronin tries to recruit, they inevitably go elsewhere. This is on Cronin.
Had Mara begun his journey elsewhere, Cronin would be saying he would love to have him. But he had him and allowed him to go.
I have to say, I'm watching a lot less UCLA basketball as the years pass. Maybe it's all the missed lay ups since Cronin has been here. I can't blame Cronin for missed lay ups, but it's indicative of where the program is today.
