I think Gonzaga has a distinct advantage vs almost any team Cronin is coaching, save for the couple years he had Alford’s players like Jaquez and Campbell.
Mark Few is a much more shrewd hoops mind than Cronin has ever come close to being, and he’s good coaching both sides of the ball. I think our guards can keep the game close if we’re shooting well, but I don’t think this is a winnable game for us.
Was also wondering today: when was the last time we were ranked #1 in the country? I know it hasn’t happened with this guy as our coach 🤣but did it even happen with Alford?
