have. I'd call him more of a finesse PG. I've seen a lot of him at New Mexico and he is capable of a lot of assists if he has strong finishers around him. But one thing he is missing in his arsenal is the ability to consistently hit those long threes that so many really good PGs hit. In fact, he doesn't take a lot of threes for that reason--didn't take a single one last night. In addition, he is only what I would consider average as a defender. But he is a much better PG than what we had last year. Not so sure about the All American hype though. If he and his teammates can all get on the same page as far as how to work together, the Bruins should be in most games as he will find them and get the ball to them.
But I have no doubt that there will be many games just like this on in the Big 10 as there are at least 7 or 8 teams there who are very good (especially on their home court) and play a very physical brand of basketball. From what I 've seen so far, I can't can't visualize a lot of "gimmie" games out there in the Big 10 for the Bruins like they often had before they changed conferences.
