solid effort. Arizona's edge in power inside had us trying multiple defenders to trap. Problem is that meant pulling defenders in and leaving people open and too often that was Del'Orso or Bradley. Don't think you can do that against them. Of course, if you don't....
But really, after watching the last three games, I was very worried about this one getting 'way out of hand. They were two baskets better than we were. Some rather amazing non-calls in the first half - that one where Bilodeau got blocked onto his backside in the paint stands out. I thought Perry did well (but Williams did not). We fought. We showed toughness. Our posts played hard but it so often was one vs two Arizona players. Doesn't bode well for the big front Ines we're going to face in the Big Ten. But we already knew that.
Heckuvan effort - could have won that game. Tape is going to have a bunch of teaching moments in it. Definitely something to build on. Whole helluva lot better than our last three times out
