It's the O stupid!
UCLA's halfcourt sets have been decidedly easy to defend and, inclusive of a ton of TO's, shakes out to a disappointing 25 points.
12 TOs is an embarrassment (8 for yoo of aay) going back to the theme that CMC's vanilla halfcourt O is comparatively easy to defend. Our prime orchestrator, Dent, looks detached and clearly not 100%. He will be critical to our 2H chances as 1-5 from the field with only 3 dimes is not what the program signed up for.
Speaking of 2H chances, look for Lloyd to make an adjustment on O by crashing the glass on O to take greater advantage of their size (6 O boards vs only 2 for UCLA).
Booker has given us a badly needed lift in the low blocks, but we need a complementary lead from the ballcentric Dent.
